[Yeah, she can imagine that it's usually harder to chop off limbs than this. Not that she's ever fought a dragon before, but.]
Do it if you want.
[If she's so excited about stabbing it in the heart, she's not going to slow her down that much tbh.]
Maybe if we temporarily get rid of the head, we'll have time to get close enough to get the heart.
[And it's not like she takes long after that to let the plan sink in before she charges it again and jumps up onto the dragon's back so she can stab it with her knife. She'll leave the limb chopping to Hawke, since her weapons aren't exactly good enough for that.]
[ WELL OKAY THEN, SHEP!!! hawke's a little bewildered when shep goes running off but fine. she'll chop off the head then. she can TOTALLY chop off a dragon's head, that's still really super cool.
the dragon doesn't seem very bothered with shep, other than snapping its teeth at it once before going back to charging at hawke. hawke lifts her sword and steels herself before charging with a yell. these two are gonna collide and something's going to happen.
that something ends up being hawke digging her sword into the ground and using it to launch herself at the dragon. when she's in midair, she'll swing the sword down across the dragon's throat and with a shriek, there goes the head. ]
[ hawke looks up when the dragon starts flailing around headless and cringes a little. okay. yeah, they should probably do it together. hawke nods and gestures towards it. ]
Try to get up on it's back again! I can get it from the front. Between the two of us, I'm sure we can get the bastard's heart.
[ and after that she will take off at a run towards it, holding her sword ready for the perfect time to strike. when shep's ready, she'll just have to give hawke a nod before she dives to plunge it into the thing. heck, it might even work. ]
Shepard takes her knife out of the dragon first though, and she waits for her moment to jump back onto the dragon's back. It tries to shake her off, and she can tell that the head is starting to grow back -- which means they gotta be even faster.
She stabs it in the back again, and she gives Hawke a nod to tell her to kill the thing. Hopefully it'll work this time, because she probably won't be able to get up on the dragon's back a third time.]
[ hawke's going to run in from underneath it, launching herself at the thing when given the go ahead and is definitely able to sink her sword in deep. there's an odd scream from the mangled thing that is the dragon's half-grown head and then it bursts, showering the two of them in a rain of blood.
when hawke stumbles back onto her feet, she wipes the blood out of her eyes, spitting to the floor and looks for shepard. maker, that's a lot of blood. ]
Well, it seems like it worked.
[ the rivers of blood are solid confirmation enough, right ]
[Shepard more or less falls off the dragon as it falls over, and gets a little pinned to it for a minute before dragging herself away from it...covered in blood.
She gets up, and looks down at herself, and then back at the dragon.]

Now! Kill it now!

She's not sure how deep that actually was because the dragon's still rearing up (she's not sure if it's dying or what), so she'll yell back at Hawke:]
Want to make sure it's finished?
[THEY COULD DO IT TOGETHER or something like that.]

I think the river of blood is our sign there.
[Just saying!!]
We should probably go.
[Just in case.]

Seems like that's our way out.
[ and she'll start walking to it! ]
I'm Hawke, by the way.

[And she'll put up her knife for now, wiping her bloody hands on her pants, as if that'll help at all.]
I'm Shepard.
[And she'll be following!]

there's an unfortunate groan from hawke as she picks at her flop of bloody bangs. ]
A... shower, it seems. That's what they have next for us. I think this is where we part, serah.

She looks over at Hawke when Shepard hears her groan, and she brushes at herself a little bit as well some more, as much good as that's going to do.]
I'll take it. Hopefully next time we won't meet in front of a dragon again.
[Not that she minded, but still. She likes getting to know people outside of battle, too.]
